Shaun Milne, PR and Media

Shaun Milne is CEO of the PR, media and communications agency Skog Media Associates and the founder of The Good Stuff In Between podcast and talent management agency, representing artists, music festivals and high-profile events.

Shaun Milne, PR and MediaA former national journalist and editor for leading newspapers and broadcasters, Shaun is also a seasoned political communications strategist, having led PR and media campaigns for a party in government. He is currently also an Associate Partner with public affairs firm Kane Partners.

Throughout his career, Shaun has been driven by a passion for impactful storytelling and social justice. As a former war correspondent, he covered major conflicts and humanitarian crises in Kosovo, the Balkans and Sierra Leone. These experiences gave him a profound understanding of the desperation faced by those fleeing oppression and the transformative power of compassion in times of crisis. That same spirit - of courage, solidarity and defiance in the face of danger - lies at the heart of Liberation Convoy a project he is proud to support.

Shaun’s involvement in the Liberation Convoy reflects his belief in people-led movements and the power of collective storytelling. Though not physically aboard the convoy, he plays an influential role in helping steer media coverage, drawing on his extensive network and experience. Working alongside the volunteer communications team, he brings empathy, creativity and strategic insight to help amplify the message of the mission, with an open invitation for journalists interested in covering the story to get in touch directly.

His deep affection for Norway - born from travels, music, a fascination with the story of Ålesund and the renewable energy revolution on both sides of the North Sea, underpins his vision for stronger cultural, political and environmental ties between Scotland and Norway. When the convoy arrives in Edinburgh, Shaun will be among those welcoming it helping to honour history while shaping a hopeful, shared future. The Liberation Convoy is proud to have secured Shaun’s support.
